To continue this effort, we are looking for a Transshipment Operations Manager to join our Logistics team in Copenhagen, someone who can translate solution design into operational reality and ensure that what we build performs where it matters most, offshore.
Bringing transshipment solutions to life
You will play a key role in turning transshipment designs into high-performing operations.
On the design side, you contribute with practical operational insight to ensure that solutions are realistic, robust and built on practical experience. On the execution side, you take part in implementation, startup, and ongoing optimisation, making sure operations perform well from day one and keep getting better.
In other words, you become the link between what we design and what we actually deliver offshore.
All of this takes place in a collaborative, international environment where you work closely with Chartering, Operations, Technical and Market Research to turn opportunities into scalable business.
The tasks that await you
You will work across the full lifecycle of transshipment projects, from supporting solution design to implementation and operational optimisation.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the design of new transshipment solutions: You bring operational insight into early-stage project development, validating assumptions around working areas, vessel setup, equipment configuration and achievable performance.
- Managing project implementation and startup: You play a key role in turning designs into reality, supporting mobilisation, commissioning and operational readiness. You help define equipment setup, onboard procedures and ensure a reliable operational foundation from the very beginning.
- Building operational capability onboard: You develop and support captains and crew through training, best practices and practical guidance. Ensuring alignment in how operations are executed across projects.
- Monitoring and optimising performance: You stay close to live operations, supporting teams in improving turnaround times, loading efficiency, crane utilisation and overall output, while identifying and removing operational bottlenecks.
- Connecting design and execution: You provide continuous feedback into Commercial and Technical teams to improve future solutions, ensuring alignment between expected and actual performance.
Your core qualifications
The role calls for someone with established operational credibility and direct experience in transshipment environments.
You bring:
- A maritime background as Master Mariner, Transshipment Captain or in a senior offshore or terminal role.
- Practical experience with floating cranes, transshipment vessels and high-volume bulk cargo operations.
- A deep understanding of vessel operations, cargo flows and loading systems in practice.
- A practical ability to translate operational experience into structured improvements and scalable setups.
- A solution-oriented, pragmatic mindset with a clear focus on execution and performance.
