Grounding: N/A , In accordance with "Masters Statements" issued by ship's master on 2011-08-10, the fwd stb area of ship was smooth aground at Amazon River, while she is swing to change of pilot. After approx. 15 minutes the ship resumed her passage to the Port of Manaus. Due the bad visibility of Amazon and Black rivers (cloudy waters), it was impossible to carry out an in water survey in any part of Amazon River. Due the a.m fact DNV H.O. instructed owner to perform the internal inspection of Double Bottom Ballast Tanks to verify if grounding cause some indent/damage. The following items were verified during the survey: - Internal inspection of all Double Bottom Tanks : DB Tk 1P/S, DB Tk 2P/S, DB Tk 3P/S, DB Tk 4P/S, Fore Peak (single bottom). Upon completion of internal examination no signal of damage, indent or cracks were observed on bottom plate and internal structures. - The sounding of E.R. bilges/tanks and D.B.B. tanks were carried out after grounding and at arrival of ship in Ita
