Whistleblowing system - SafeLine
To respond positively to demands and recommendations from customers, partners and investors a whistleblowing system was launched by the NORDEN Group/Norient Product Pool in September 2011. The system called SafeLine will encourage and safeguards the high standards and best practices within the Group. SafeLine provides safe access to reporting existing or potential violations of law and regulations, NORDEN policies and guidelines, or other serious irregularities. The whistleblowing system will together with the other CSR-initiatives within the NORDEN Group/NPP be a still growing competitive parameter when closing new contracts and thereby a value creating initiative.
SafeLine is on 24/7 basis available for the employees, the Board of Management and members of the Board of Directors.
The persons who may be the subject of a report are employees, members of the Board of Management, members of the Board of Directors, auditors and legal advisors.
To ensure confidential and unbiased handling of reports, NORDEN’s Board of Directors has appointed and external person – an attorney – as external investigator. He will be under the sole instruction of the chairmanship of NORDEN’s Board of Directors.
Commenting on the whistleblowing system, the chairman of the Board of Directors, Mogens Hugo, says:

The whistleblowing system is also in line with recommendations from investors and recommendations from The Danish Committee on Corporate Governance (Komiteen for God Selskabsledelse).”
