NORDEN appoints new CFO and Executive Vice President

Today, NORDEN has appointed Michael Tønnes Jørgensen as new CFO and Executive Vice President. Michael Tønnes Jørgensen takes up his position on 1 January 2009.
Michael Tønnes Jørgensen will form NORDEN's Board of Management together with President and CEO Carsten Mortensen. His areas of responsibility will include finance, accounting, risk management, insurance, IT and Investor Relations.
Michael Tønnes Jørgensen is 42 years old and currently holds a position as Group Vice President and CFO at the Maersk Logistics/Damco business (APM Global Logistics). He is in charge of accounting, finance, performance management and legal matters, including the judicial restructuring of APM Global Logistics as an independent business.
