NORDEN appoints Vice Presidents and Directors
NORDEN enhances its organisation and management structures with the appointment of a number of Vice Presidents and Directors with effect from 1 January 2011.
“We will give due recognition to some competent people by promoting them as deserved. By doing so, we will create coherence between the titles of the managers and their responsibilities and roles”, says Carsten Mortensen, CEO.
NORDEN has appointed the following persons Vice President:
Michael Boetius, Manager of NORDEN Post-Panamax Pool and the Capesize Chartering Section. Michael Boetius is 40 years old, shipping-trained and joined NORDEN in 2007.
Hans Bøving, Manager of Corporate Communications & CSR Department. Hans Bøving is 48 years old, a journalist by profession and joined NORDEN in 2008.
Mikkel Fruergaard, Manager of the Panamax Chartering Section. Mikkel Fruergaard is 32 years old, shipping-trained and joined NORDEN in 2004.
Thomas Jarde, Manager of the Handymax Chartering Section. Thomas Jarde is 38 years old, shipping-trained and joined NORDEN in 2002.
Christian Ingerslev, Manager of NORDEN Handysize Pool. Christian Ingerslev is 41 years old, shipping-trained and joined NORDEN in 2006.

Michael Boetius, General Manager, Post-Panamax Pool, 40th birthday
Michael Boetius, who turns 40 on 11 November 2010, has been employed in our Dry Cargo Department since 2007. He was employed as Senior Chartering Manager. In 2009 he was promoted to General Manager in charge of the establishment of NORDEN's Dry Cargo Post-Panamax Pool, which has been operational since January this year.
