NORDEN Scholarship and Award Program with Shanghai Maritime University.
Prizes were awarded by H.H. Princess Alexandra to five students and two teachers at a ceremony in Beijing on 30 November 2005. The “NORDEN” Scholarship program is designed by “NORDEN” and the SMU to encourage students’ to study enthusiastically and progress in academic achievements. Every year, scholarships will be granted to third year students who display the best moral, intellectual, sports, aesthetic and academic qualities. All full-time undergraduates who enroll and register under the national University Enrollment Plan are qualified for application. In total, five students from multi-disciplined maritime majors will receive an amount of RMB 10,000 per student per year. New office - Mumbai
As announced on 8 July 2004, we have now opened an office in Mumbai. The Mumbai Office will primarily concentrate on the dry cargo segment. Moreover our intention is to further strengthen relations with local partners, clients and brokers. Mr Michael Bonderup, Director is in charge of our new Mumbai Office.

On 1 January 2005 the Norient Product Pool A/S was a reality.
